Bethesda Assisted Living care is designed for those individuals who do not have a need for the comprehensive services offered in a skilled nursing facility but who would benefit from a combination of housing and assistance. Bethesda Assisted Living is unique in that it is located within the nursing home but in an area that is contained within itself. In this location, all of the services are available but are utilized to the limited extent necessary for assisted living.

Bethesda Assisted Living offers the following services:

Laundry

Housekeeping

Meals:
All diets at Bethesda are planned individually for the residents' needs. This is overseen by a consulting dietician, who works with our dietary department.

Medical Care:
You will receive approximately 1 hour of nursing service per day. This includes in-house medication distribution. Physician service is available as needed.

Supervision:
Supervision by licensed nurses, nursing assistant, social worker and dietician.

Activities:
The activity program of Bethesda reflects a respect for the dignity and worth of each older person. These activities are geared to their abilities and include spiritual programs, bus trips, picnics, parties for holidays, music reading programs and a variety of entertainment.

Personal Care:
Assistance will be given with bathing and personal care needs.

Beauty Shop:
An in-house beautician provides the residents the opportunity to get a haircut, shampoo or permanent without leaving the facility. Our beauty shop accommodates both wheelchair and ambulatory residents.

Bethesda Assisted Living residents are invited to make their room into their home. They are encouraged to decorate and bring their own furniture. If you would like to know more about Bethesda's Assisted please give us a call at 605-763-2050.
