Hi! I joined Bethesda in May of 2021, and took over as Administrator in September of 2021. I have loved working here and getting to know the residents and families. I have been in long term care since 2016, primarily as a Certified Nursing Assistant. I graduated from the University of South Dakota in December of 2021, with my Bachelors of Business Administration in Health Administration. I enjoy going to the lake with my family during the summer and ice skating in the winter.

I am Jackson Johnson and I work in the Business Office here at Bethesda of Beresford. I started as an intern in May of 2023 and began working in the Business office in September of 2023. I am currently pursuing an MBA at the University of South Dakota and will graduate in May of 2024. I can assist with any questions you may have about billing. Although I work primarily in the business office, I often help anywhere that is needed. I look forward to meeting you and answering any questions you may have!

Hello! I started working here back in March of 2023 and have thoroughly enjoyed getting to know the inner workings of Bethesda. Meeting the residents and their families has been such a fun opportunity. I graduated from the University of South Dakota in 2022 and began pursuing a career in healthcare. Leanna Hedeen, RN, MDS Coordinator
A little about me-I joined the Bethesda team in February of 2017 as an MDS coordinator. I worked in the dietary department here for a short time when I was in High School which started my interest in healthcare and love of the field. I have been working as a RN since 2010. I grew up in Beresford and after a short time away moved back with my family. My husband Keith and our 3 children-Easton, Mckenzie and Mathew live on an acreage outside of Beresford. We have 1 dog and 3 chickens.

Thomas Hartwick, Maintenance Director
I am a retired Army Veteran of twenty six years, a husband of thirty four years to my wife Karen, a father of five children, and also ten grandchildren.
I am now is head of Maintenance for Bethesda of Beresford, I believe in working hard, and doing the job right the first time, because my work is a reflection of me. There is nothing better than looking back on a finished project, in which you are proud to display. My goal is to keep the facility running smoothly, and looking well maintained.
During my off time I enjoy traveling, working around home, helping other with projects, spending time with my family.

Hi! I started at Bethesda in September of 2023 after spending the last 15+ years in the restaurant industry. I live in Vermillion with my wife Allison and our son Gus. I enjoy working with my team to provide the best food experience for the residents and working together with the rest of the facility to make sure all residents enjoy their time spent at Bethesda. I believe that good food can really make a person feel at home and it is my goal to make all residents feel at home here at Bethesda. Hi,! I started at Bethesda on October 31st, 2023. I live in Vermillion with my 7-year-old son Gus and my husband, Brandon who also works for Bethesda as the Dietary Manager
Before starting at Bethesda, I worked as director of the Vermillion Area Arts Council for 3 years, and started my own cake decorating business. I don’t have much extra time for cakes anymore, but I am having a great time sharing my baking time with our residents!
